Montalbera

The farm Montalbera born in the early twentieth century in a territory between the towns of Grana, Castagnole Monferrato and Montemagno. In the mid-eighties, the Morando family, adopting a policy of expansion not yet completed, with the acquisition of adjoining land and direct planting of new vineyards, mainly Ruche. Ruche is once close to extinction. Local decided to revitalize this indigenous grape and the appellation was up graded to D.O.C.G in 2010. Today the company is surrounded by its own vineyards arranged in circular form one body entirely hilly position, with different exposures and soils that range from clay to calcareous

Montalbera酒莊

Deep ruby red, the nose reveals aromatic notes that recall the typical fruits of the forest, oriental spices, black pepper. A slight trace balsamic opens to a powerful taste, full, rich and harmonious, very persistent.
