夏日炎炎冰島遊

我是指近年被炒至天價的雲南冰島的普洱茶。繼早十多年前的班章熱之後，茶友轉戰冰島村的古樹茶。十年間價格飈升100倍，堪稱茶中比特幣。很多達官貴人更重手出擊，包下整棵樹的收成自製茗茶。一位捉狹友更稱，幾十萬包棵普洱樹比包個小三划算！

最近流行喝原生古樹茶，位於海拔3200公尺，擁有500多年歷史的冰島春尖茶氣迫人、花香果香明媚，加上古樹新茶，原莊直達，不須陳上日子也和胃暖胃，自然人見人愛。高海拔大雪山的古樹茶，獨有一股乳雪香，格外矜貴迷人。

冰島共有五個寨子：分別是老寨、南迫、糯五、霸丕、地界，當中以老寨產的茶葉最為珍貴。價格真的堅離地。新鮮剛採下的樹茶，也售二萬人民幣一公斤。成品的成本也要五萬多一公斤。可以想像二三手的零售價也接近十萬圓計。

Summer Excursion of Iceland

Have we stopped quarantine? Have Airlines resumed flights? Does Iceland produce wine?

I am talking about the Puer Tea from “Iceland Village “(Bing Dao), literally means Iceland, of Yunnan that has been speculated to a sky-high price. In the last decade, tea connoisseurs were fascinated by tea from Bang Zhang with punching fruit notes. Follow by the Iceland Tea run, price of Iceland tea increased a hundred times in 10 years like the Bitcoin. Billionaires rent these ancient tea trees and make their own tea with their own labels. My friend with black humour says, keeping an ancient Puer Tea Tree is much better off than keeping a concubine!

It is a fashion now drinking original grow of ancient tree tea. With 500 years of history and situated at 3200m elevation, “Iceland “tea has got very powerful “Qi”, punching floral and fruits notes. Direct ex-plantation, this new tea from ancient tree do not need a long time for maturing. It keeps your stomach well and comfortable when being drunk young. No wonder it is so irresistible. Tea from ancient tree at high altitude and snowy mountains possesses a very unique aroma of suet and rock sugar that makes it extraordinarily elegant and fascinating.

There are 5 communes in the “Iceland Village”: Nan Bi, Nuo Wu, Ba Wai, Di Jie and the Old Commune produces the most precious tea. Price of the Old Commune tea is far from affordable to the general public. Freshly picked tea leaves worth RMB 20,000 per Kg and cost of finished product is around 50 thousand per kg. You can image the second hand or third hand price might cost ten thousand per kg.

Strangely, the more expensive it is, the more sought after it is. Collectors are more than happy to buy it. However, the area of “Iceland “is not big and production is tiny. Counterfeit is everywhere. My fans would have read my FB page that a close friend was parcelled not long ago. The only way to avoid being cheated is to learn how to differentiate between the authentic and the fake.
